甚么是灵芝?
历史上,灵芝被誉为【神奇的百草之王】,是世界上最著名的药用大型真菌之一。多年来,灵芝被视为一种珍贵的疗效食品,在预防或对抗便秘、胃炎、咳喘、糖尿和心血管疾病等方面具有多种健康益处。《本草纲目》记载,灵芝具有增强生命力、强化心脏功能、提高记忆力和抗衰老等作用[1]。
因灵芝含有大量的活性化合物,其中三萜类化合物和多醣体是灵芝中两大类活性化合物。例如灵芝醛、灵芝醇和灵芝酸具有强大的抗氧化功效,可以清除体内自由基,使细胞免受氧化压力的损害,还具有抗菌活性和抗炎作用,可对抗各种病毒、细菌和真菌病原体[2]。临床研究表明,灵芝中的三萜类化合物,可以帮助新陈代谢、调整体质和生理机能,提高免疫力[3]。
灵芝中的大量多醣 (GL-PS) 有助于免疫调节、或有助于稳定血糖水平[3]。除此之外, 灵芝多醣具有抗氧化和抗发炎功效,通过减轻细胞氧化应激,降低衰老细胞中线粒体活性氧 (ROS) 数量,有助于推迟皮肤光老化的现象,从而改善肤色,增加皮肤弹性和光泽,同时亦可以减少皱纹和色斑,并有助于缓解皮肤过敏和湿疹症状[4,5]。
灵芝中的乙醇萃取物(EGL)因可以提高体内的谷胱甘肽水平从而具有保护肝脏的作用[6]。因谷胱甘肽是一种强大的抗氧化因子,有助保护肝脏细胞,清除氧化压力所导致的肝脏细胞损伤,从而促进肝脏的代谢和解毒功能[7]。
